Questions people actually ask
- Why publish prices at all?
- Because hiding them wastes everyone's time. If our numbers are far from your budget, you should know that in ten seconds rather than after two calls and a proposal.
- What if my project does not fit a package?
- Most larger ones do not. We scope those individually and quote a fixed price against a written specification. The packages exist because the most common requests really are that predictable.
- How do payments work?
- 50% to start and 50% on delivery for projects under $10,000. For larger work, 40/30/30 against milestones. Invoices are net 14. No work begins before the first payment clears.
- What is not included?
- Third-party costs — hosting, domains, API usage, paid licences — are billed to you directly rather than marked up by us. We tell you what they will be during scoping.
- Do prices change after we start?
- Only through a written change order that you approve first. If you ask for something outside the agreed scope, you get a price for it before it is built, never after.
- Do you work hourly?
- Rarely, and only for open-ended maintenance where scoping is genuinely impossible. Fixed prices against a written scope are better for you — the risk of an estimate being wrong sits with us, which is where it belongs.
